A flea market and a true story
Many of you, people, have understood that decluttering should be the final frontier. Making lists in Byebye and using the STATS section in a proper way reveals where your inventory is oversized, and what you can get rid of.
Many lists entitled “To sell”, “To declutter”, “To get rid of”, “Things to donate” appeared in the app. For all of you getting ready to declutter, an update is “in the oven”.
The marketplace
You’ll be able to mark your unwanted items as ready for:
- Sale
- Swap
- Donation
So, you can monetize your excess, you can save the planet by swapping instead of buying new, or you can make someone happy with a donation. So cool!
Until the next update (early November), instead of deleting the unwanted stuff from the app, just move it to a separate list, and wait for the Marketplace. You never know what you gonna get!
Two important things worth mentioning:
- Byebye doesn’t use anyone geolocation, but if you choose a country, you can find who, in that area, wants to swap – let’s say – a road bike for your iPhone XS
- Byebye is not a transactional platform. You can only get in contact via the CHAT section, and the rest is up to you
A Facebook group is waiting for you to join
Yes, a Facebook group was created for anyone eager to get the Byebye news and alerts, to ask questions, suggest features, tell stories, or anything related to the app’s values. As a welcome gift, the first post is the Byebye app short story and all about how it started. You can take a look and join, if you want, HERE.
Until the next time, thank you for using the app.
Byebye!
