Cost-per-Use and Cost-per-Day

If you ever wondered how much an investment in an item weighs in your budget, the Byebye app got you covered, again.

 

Let’s take the following scenario:

• You buy a $90 jacket when the winter starts, and use it all over the 3 winter months (90 days). That will lead to a 1$ cost-per-day, more or less, right? Sounds fair enough…
• What if you wear it only 2 times during the winter? That will lead to a $45 cost-per-use. That’s correct, as well, even it seems to be kind of harsh…

 

If these calculations mean something to you, you can use this feature on any of your items’ details page. Be sure that your item has a Price, set up the correct Purchase Date, and increment the Usage each time you use it. The magic will happen automatically!
