Meet Ina, a craft artist from the United States

From time to time we feature a remarkable person on the Byebye homepage, and also here, on our blog. This time we want you to meet Ina, from Austin, TX, passionate about crafting and design. Ina joined Byebye in early 2020. You can discover more of her work on her Etsy page or on Instagram here.
Here’s Ina sharing some of her background, what she’s currently working on to and more! We’ll use the entire week to showcase what she’s up to!
Q: How did your passion for handcrafting start and how does it blend with your daily routine?
A: It all started from my passion for design and entrepreneurship. Sometime in late 2021 I was reading about how the handcrafting industry has gone from large scale to individual scale and how the Cricut cutting machine has become its staple. The idea of the Cricut is simple: you design any shape you can think of and then it cuts that custom shape into any type of paper, vinyl or fabric. That was my “aha!” moment that ignited my interest in building all kinds of cool paper and vinyl handmade products: cake toppers, shadow boxes, stickers, and more!
Q: How would you describe yourself in a few words?
A: Patient, resilient, and hard-working is what defines me to the core.
Q: You found Byebye as a valuable digital tool, and we are thankful for that. How does the app help you?
A: I’ve been casually using the Byebye app for some time now. The #1 thing I enjoy doing within the app, besides managing my inventory is to look at what others have in their inventories and get some inspiration from them. It’s so amazing to see how people from across the globe think about living within their means!
